Hesperia Lands Current Activities

- August 2011: The only major construction activity scheduled for 2011 involves off-site improvements to a portion of Okanagan Avenue.  This work is to begin on August 8th and be fully completed by the middle of October.  Existing municipal utility services will be extended along a portion of Okanagan Avenue followed by concrete and asphalt work in early October.  The work will occur as two distinct segments - with the area to the west of the intersection of Longacre and Okanagan Avenue to be addressed during August and early September and the portion to the east of this intersection to begin on September 9th and be complete early in October.  Road restrictions and detours will arise, accordingly. 

- November/December 2008: "Survey and Geo-Technical drilling work will occur on-site in late November and early December.  This work is being undertaken to allow for the assessment of soil conditions along future roadways"

-October 2008, "Archaeological survey and assessment field work to be undertaken on the 23rd and 24th"
